Organic Matters Foundation
Organic Matters Foundation is a not for profit organization that – working with community groups in country - delivers Soil School™ to remote farming communities. Soil School™ focuses on sustainable agriculture solutions addressing the threat of climate change, land degradation and food security in the pacific.
This highly successful program is delivered by farmers for farmers. The practical approach adopted is welcomed in the remote communities and provides grass roots education about soil biology, soil health and sustainable farming systems. This in turn ensures these communities are well prepared to face the issues of climate change, land degradation and food security.
Soil School™ is an initiative of Organic Matters Foundation and to date has contributed to assist over 85 farmers on the road to practical sustainable farming solutions. Education sessions are delivered in a practical way and can be applied to the farmer’s every day needs.
Organic Matters Foundation is a not for profit whose solution is to help the environment and the people at the same time, by providing communities with viable farming alternatives, on-the-ground education and ongoing support.
